What We Do
Health Quest provides a wide range of chiropractic, physical therapy, and rehabilitative services in a treatment plan customized to each patient's specific needs and condition.
Services at Health Quest are provided by our doctors and their team of licensed assistants in an environment underscored by superior customer service. We go beyond typical treatment of neck pain, back pain, pinched nerves and herniated discs to treat pain and injuries in the entire body, including shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. We also care for those involved in auto accidents or work-related injuries. And, we are the only clinic in a 40-mile radius offering Functional Neurology treatment of post-concussion syndrome, migraines, vertigo and peripheral neuropathy.
We typically treat patients in the entire Northwest, North Central and Northeast Baltimore metropolitan area. However, many patients travel from throughout the state of Maryland because they trust and appreciate the quality of care and service they receive in our practice.
What is treatment like?
Health Quest provides a wide variety of modalities, making sure patients are comfortable with the therapy program every step of the way. Each visit, you will meet with your doctor first for evaluation and treatment, then move on to prescribed physical therapy protocols in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility. These supervised protocols gradually intensify to recondition and strengthen weakened/injured areas, which prevents exacerbation and recurrence of the problem.
Our doctors work closely with referring physicians to communicate your progress and coordinate care. As a service to you, we submit health insurance claims to carriers with whom we are a participating provider.
We provide advanced spinal manipulation and correction utilizing state-of-the-art chiropractic techniques. Never in the history of chiropractic have we been able to provide the level of help and expertise that now exists. These newer back adjustment methods are safer, more comfortable, and more effective than ever before. Together, our doctors offer more than 75 years of combined experience and will regularly consult with each other to pool their resources of knowledge for particularly challenging cases.
Doctors of Chiropractic receive a minimum of 4,200 hours of combined classroom, laboratory, and clinical experience, and in Maryland they can be licensed to perform physical therapy after passing additional board exams. Our doctors are all trained and licensed to provide the full range of physical therapy procedures and treatment protocols. They can include:
- Interferential Electrical Muscle Stimulation
- Superficial Heat and Ice
- Mechanical Traction
- Infrared Diode Therapy
- Vibration Therapy
- Rehabilitation Programs
- Trigger Point Dry Needling Therapy
- Decompression Therapy
- Vestibular Rehab
We constantly research and update our exercise protocols to provide the best exercises for strengthening and stabilizing your unique symptoms and condition. Once we are confident you are able to do certain exercises safely and properly, we encourage you to perform them in the comfort of your own home, which can improve the effectiveness of your treatment by as much as 30% to 40%.
